Finland has never ever done anything useful to the Eurovision song contest, and then suddently:

If some lovesinger win over them, I gonna eat its babies!

Wow! Lordi are playing Eurovision for Finland?? That's just too cool ^___^ If they do play, I'm sure they'll get a lot of votes

This year the UK's entry is... well, terrible to say the least. I hope we get 0 points again. That was the best thing about the Eurovision that year!

UK's entry was kicked out in the semifinal, I thought.

Yes, that is correct:

Eventhough there is a lot of music to select from in the UK, I always get amazed that they manage to find things that both are so boring, so bad and so crappy year after year. Because they do try to find the worst stuff, don't they?

The same goes for France too.

Eh, correction: UK went direct to the final. How did that happen? Did they have a song last year?

I missed last year totally.

Interesting to see Daz Sampson (UK)'s comment on:
http://www.eurovision.tv/english/2505.htm

“So-called political voting does go on but nowhere near as much as people in the UK say,” he said. “I think we hide behind that a bit, but the fact is, for the last ten years or so, we haven’t sent anything good.”

Yea... Grandma's drum from Moldavia rock the asses of Daz too, unfortunately ];@]

It would so go against the death metal tradition of Finland. I mean, loosing with a lovesinger, not eating babies. That would make perfect sense.

Yeah they were in the final, but I don't know why they bothered o_O

I always get amazed that they manage to find things that both are so boring, so bad and so crappy

I agree, and I apologise on behalf of the country for making so many people watch that crap they called music...

Hats off to Finland, though. Very entertaining! But I'll bet next year other countries will try to do the same as they did

If you mean "Sending a good song", then I think it will be good ;)

But if countries just send more daring stuff it would be more fun. Even Latvia was good, because then I could go and pee and make another drink (No connection there!) ;)

I meant more countries will take their idea and do a rock song, or dress up. Not that that's a bad thing: it will be much more entertaining :)

But we need to keep cheesey pop songs to laugh at! it wouldn't be Eurovision without them ;)
