Just some thoughts. How about a Suggestions forum? Could be handy.
A Musmakers chat? I know I'd spend some time there. :P

And would it be possible to have a way to upload sheet music or tabs to go with the music? Would be interesting to see.

The Site Bugs forum can be used for suggestions.

In what format do you have the sheets and tabs? You can upload any kind of file to the song. So at a song, you can have a subpage with the sheets. I just don't know how to create them. Maybe just an image?

Depends. They can simply be .doc files. Or txt. Or anything. And in some cases, it can also be just the chords, that could be included on the lyrics.

A .doc could be good for tabs and such, but for a piano score, it would be more difficult.
Adobe acrobat's used a lot.

Nope, but sheet music's often shown in adobe reader. How, I don't know.
Would be nice to get the sheet music in a file I could open in an editor program like Finale, but getting everyone to use the same one could be hard. :P And a lot of people would probably just scan their handwritten stuff.

No, it's horribly expensive, though very worth it. We used it in composing class at school.

But there's a demo version. You can't save though, which landed me in the situation where the computer for some unfathomable reason restarted itself just as I was recording it from Finale. Imagine my pain... But it's a good program, and I'm considering buying it. They have a "Finale Light" which is slightly cheaper.
