Hi everyone! I'm interested to starting up some kind of wiki dealing with the different techniques employed in all kinds of hard rock music, but I'm looking for a few people who would like to help out. It's a broad subject, and I just don't have the time or desire to spend hours building another wiki by myself. Message me if you are interested!

Like how people play their guitars and things?

Yup. Hammer-ons, palm mutes, galloping, that sort of thing. I'm also considering (maybe) doing an 'evolution of' kind of thing, talking about the tie-ins that hard rock has with blues or classical or what not.

hehe - I have to admit that I am not all that familiar with the technical side of music ^__^ Or theory side :-(

Well, I'm also interested in doing a list of bands that have contributed to hard rock... not fan pages by any means, but something along the lines of what their contributions meant to music. 

have you started working on the pages yet? Maybe if people can see what kind of thing you are doing, they will be want to help ^__^

I am sure there are more than a few people here who may be able to offer opinions on which bands have contributed to the way rock music is today :P

I haven't had a whole lot of time to start yet. I was hoping to get a general idea of whether people were interested or not before I got started.

You should start it. When things are half done, people usually start helping.
