From now on, I've got to be very careful what I write in my blog. The last one I wrote drew a fly. So, if I'm ever feeling really down about things and just have a need to vent, I'd better not do it in my blog if I don't want to be preached at.
Today, I'm happy happy all sorts of happy! Even though I feel a little bad for responding to said fly in a way that I still believe to be perfectly justified, I'm in a good mood. At first I absolutely hated this person, I mean, really hated, like 'I hope his legs are gnawed off by diseased vermin' hated. But by the second message I wasn't mad at all, unless slightly irritated counts as mad. I kind of felt sorry for the fly, even, and I still do. I think that says a lot for how much better I've gotten at controlling my temper in the last several months.
As for the music, I put up something that I actually played instead of just wrote on the computer. My hands were really hurting afterwards, and my fingers had gone numb, but I wanted to put something that I'd personally played up. ^_^ It's at 79.contrast if anybody's interested, but I warn you, it's not much more than chord strumming, and the filesize is large. If anybody can tell me about making smaller music files, or just point me in the direction of some useful resources about it, I would be very grateful!
Yeah, that pretty much does it for me as far as musmakers is concerned. This place is even more stagnant than writersco, and I don't think I can spare the time for two failed communities at once. Call me egotistical, but at least my existence has been acknowledged on writersco, so I'll pretty much stick to that one.
People writing real music! And much of this stuff is just as good as mainstream stuff, so why don't these people have million dollar deals? Media. Besides, the recording industry just molds bands into what they want anyway, so I'm glad some people are still just making the music they love. My MIDI's look kinda childish here.
