The following is the first song I have ever tried to write. I started writing this song on 7/25/04 and have been changing and adding to it over the course of about 6 months. I have posted the most recent version, though I think it needs a complete rewrite.

Memories of you and the things we used to do,
the times I wasn’t there for everything you went through.

I don’t know how to make all this pain go away.

Now we’re back to square one, just as things start to fade
