He wore a golden top hat from Saturn
and a silver bow tie from Mars,
his shirt it was spun from the clouds of the Sun
and his buttons were tiny stars
his buttons were tiny stars.

His home was high up on a mountain
with a view of all down below,
he practised his Song with a luminous gong
he was a Knower of all we know
he was a Knower of all we know.

He wasn’t born on this planet
he was a stranger to this terrain,
he shouted a yell when he was casting a spell
he was the Master of the wind and the rain
he was the Master of the wind and the rain.

His eyes could see into forever
he had greased lightning on the soles of his shoes,
he played his guitar with a thunderbolt star
he was the universal king of the blues
