I'm sorry I hurt you
I'm sorry you left
I'm sorry, I just didn't understand!
I'm sorry you left me forever
By myself...

But wewere blinded, blinded, blinded
I was blinded by the sight of you
You were blinded by the sight of me
Blinded, blinded, couldn't see
Blinded, blinded, couldn't be
Myself...
Around you.

And I'm sorry we couldn't hang it
I'm sorry we had to, had to part
Now I'm alone, alone
Not blinded anymore...

But were blinded, blinded, blinded
I was blinded by the sight of you
You were blinded by the sight of me
Blinded, blinded, couldn't see
Blinded, blinded, couldn't be
Myself...
We were blinded, blinded, we couldn't see!
Blinded, blinded, we couldn't be ourselves...

Forever.

2005-06-17 Gooseberry: this (Like everything that I have tried to play at the moment) seems to work nicely with mangle of D,G and A... though something else might be intended.. when can we hear?

2005-06-17 Citrus: yes, i made a melody for it but i'm new and im not sure how to make a music file. i'm working on it, though, and ill tell you when i've figured it out. do you need a microphone or something to record it?

2005-06-17 Citrus: i guess i can write out the notes but it wouldn't be the same...

2005-06-17 Citrus: here's the notes for the beginning it'll be a little confusing, but...btw "s" means sharp "f" means flat and anything like "C2 or D2" means second C or second d

2005-06-17 Citrus:

2005-06-17 Citrus: i'll get the rest later...im to lazy now to go sit down with my guitar and figure out the notes (i made up the melody in my head, i had to change the key a little)

2005-06-18 Moorn: My honest opinion of these lyrics is... upper medium. The subject matter is classic, if a little cliche, but the words flow well. The only thing that keeps me from thinking better of this is that the word 'blinded' appears twenty-three times in a verse and a half. That kind of thing can cause a song to get old very quickly. ^_^

2005-06-18 Citrus: Yes. Hence the name "Blinded."

2005-06-18 Moorn: *shrugs* Well, I was just trying to help. Good luck with it.

2005-06-18 Patricio: To gooseberry: Start the song with G! That never seems to fail. At least to me :P
To Citrus: The lyrics are pretty nice. If they go well with the music and the vocal melody, I'm sure the repetition of blinded wouldn't be a problem.
In general: Isn't the symbol for flat #?

2005-06-18 Moorn: Nah, that's a symbol for a sharp. A flat is like a small letter 'b'

2005-06-18 Patricio: Well, it was the other way around. I still don't know which one is sharp and which one is flat. Well, I do now. # is sharp (sostenido, for me) and b is flat (bemol, for me).

2005-06-19 Citrus: [Moorn]: Sorry, I was kind of rude there. The repititions {we were blinded, blinded, blinded}, they sort of fade out, so the first is loud, then the second isn't so loud, and the third is quieter.
[Patricio]: I'm not sure if you were reffering to my song when you said start it with G, but it starts with middle C.

2005-06-19 Patricio: Nop, it was a joke for gooseberry. Most of my songs seem to try to start on G.
The part after "To Citrus" was about your song.

2005-06-19 Citrus: Oh, okay. :P

2005-06-22 Gooseberry: I was talking about the three chord strum anyway! not the actual melody line! thats too hard to describe. *fails to think of any song that he knows that starts with on G*
its either DAG if CAmf in gooseville!
English people should use italian words for flat and sharp anyway what with the other musical notation, were those spanish?

2005-06-23 Patricio: Not even one that starts with G?
DAG is good. Or DAmCG.
Bemol and sostenido? I guess. Or italian.

2005-07-02 Citrus: eh? Ingles, por favor? That's the pitiful bit of Spanish I know...

2005-07-05 Patricio: Bemol and sostenido are the way flats and sharps are called, in italian (and in spanish too). The rest was english :D

2005-07-05 Citrus: Oh, ok.
