A classic surf tune written by Dick Dale. Dick played a lot of his surf music as dance music. Imagine shaking and stomping to this tune ^_^
I like the way this song came out. I never really felt like the rhythm guitar got it together durring the non-(stop break) parts, but it isn't that noticeable (i hope)

His lawyers are something else tho. When we first started talking with them about getting the rights to sell a CD with this recording on it, they wanted us to send them three (3!) copies. Even after we made it very clear that we had only planned to make 120 of them.
Well, it turned out that we had to buy the rights to make at least 500, which turned out for the best because we already sold or gave away almost all of the first 120 and we are ready to make another batch.

This is the song that helped me start to find my groove. I used to always be tense when I played, I would worry about what I was doing and look at my hands all the time.
Then one day durring this song I just started to really feel it, and I noticed that my eyes were closed and I was totally relaxed, and it was sounding better than normal. ^_^
It is a simple bass line, but I think that is why it helped to open a door for me.

2006-09-13 zoloftzantac: Thanks man, I just listened to this and it is amazing how far we have come since then. We got a new drummer and a new rhythm guitar player back in April and since then I like our tempos and rhythms much better and it has freed me up to grow also.
I'll see if I can get an even more shakin' and rockin' version of this uploaded some time soon ;)
