Description:
After discovering electronic music in 2001 through the game "FreQuency", Qwerty got the bug for making music. Experimenting with musical styles in his early days, he now mainly produces progressive house music. As a DJ, however, he likes to play a little bit of everything, from progressive house to break beat, disco to synthpop.
He is very fond of remixing, as he has remixed:
BT
Theory In Motion
Nine Inch Nails
Daft Punk (bootleg)
Bodyrockers (bootleg)
He hopes to remix The Crystal Method, The Chemical Brothers, Freezepop, The Doors, New Order & Curve someday.
He also has made four mix cds titled "Blender, vol. 1-4" which will be played on Portland's 94.7 fm sometime later this year. The target release date for his debut album "Simple" is early 2007.
He makes his music using Ableton Live v.5 and Apple's GarageBand.
