The Creature was inspired by the old cheesy B horror movies.
I imagine the whole song as some cute girl being chased by "The Creature" as she runs for her life.
We would love to have this song used as part of the sound track for a B horror movie ^_^
There is a repeated theme of a C-G-B played that represents "The Creature" jumping out to try to grab the girl.
Around the middle of the song there is a drum bass duo that was supposed to represent the girl running thru the jungle, and thinking she had made it to safety when she runs into a tribe of cannibal natives dancing around a fire.
Things get more and more intense until she is too scared to stay any longer so she runs off again into the night.
After the guitars come back in she is on the run, and "The Creature" is right after her again.
Will she get away ... ?

2006-04-02 zoloftzantac: This song is a lot of fun for us. Too bad the drum solo wasn't really working in the studio, so we just cut it kinda short on the mixing table since the song is a little long anyway. The song is longer when we play it live and the drummer gets the feel of that crazy jungle beat going in the middle.
