True, I haven't. I don't have anything to record it with. Not a single thing.

And... Ooooh... Spanking...? Tease me not!

You just have to make a handcoded mp3-file! It's not that hard. Just enter the numbers like it sounds...

You have to visit a friend with some sort of recording devise! Or why not try out the programs on Recording Your Music to see if you can make something right on the computer?

Handcoded mp3... Have any online guides for that...? :P

Yea, I'll see what I can do on the comp, until I can dig up some equipment. But from my experience, they often sound sort of...crap. Computer-made piano sound.... Not good.

I'm sure there is an RFC somewhere ;-) Here for example: http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2250.html Have fun! ;-)

Well, it's hard to make it sound like a piano, but I'm sure it's useful for other things and to make a good mix. I'll try to create something, when I'm not drowning in programming-tasks...

Write a program for writing music on the comp? Hedda, I'll not only give you a cookie, I'll send you a basket full in the mail. Several baskets. :P

Some programs are pretty useful. We used *tries hard to remember* NoteWorthy Composer at school. It's pretty good to write the music in and get a (very) general idea of what it'll sound like, but in the end, a flat and boring sound, devoid of any dynamics. Just for getting the music score.

You could try www.Tabledit.com (I think thats right) you can write either tabs or manuscript for 16 bars of 4/4 on the free demo version... though come to think of it I don't know if you can export the sound and it doesnt really go better than the crap computer sound that you just mentioned.. still its a laugh!

well I say "laugh", its not so much really comedy orientated as I would maybe like to think :P
Still, its useful because some tab-sites use tabledit so you can listen to the tabs :D
