Can you describe your song?
- Well, it's the first one I ever made... that should tell something.
What inspired you to make it? Do you think it shows?
- Everyone wants to compose something of their own. And well, it shows in the way that the song exists in the first place. ^^
How was it made? What came first/last? How do your songs normally come about?
- I sat in my chair playing the guitar while I had a crappy little microphone lying on my table. It's all just one little melody so it was made in the same order you hear it.
Normally, uh... I just try things and play them over and over and see how they work. I make a lot of stubs and sometimes notice that they fit together and then go on. I'm not too pro. :P
Which instruments/programs did you use? Why?
- An electric guitar and Abode Audition 1.5, I think. Those are the only things I have for now.
What are you most happy with? Why? Least happy with?
- Most happy, hard to say... It's my first song so it's rather uncomparable to others. Least happy, quality.
Any thing else you want to say about this song?
- Uh... sorry about the quality. :P Also, originally it's almost twice as slow (because that's fast as I could play back then).
Do you think you have a clear style, and how would you describe it?
- No specific style yet, I'm a "just learned to crawl" n00b. I tend to make very melodic things, though.
Any favourite subjects you turn into music? Any artists/people/things that inspires you?
- Ahh, I dunno, not really. Not yet.
For inspiration, of course all the great bands I listen to! Pain of Salvation, Opeth and Nightwish to mention three inspiring ones.
What does your musical history look like? How did it start?
- Krhm, when I was seven, I played the flute for some time in a small local music club thing. That was left behind pretty soon, though. Then I got this guitar about two and a half years ago. (I was listening to Nightwish and figured "I wanna play like that!") I started all on my own, learning the basic notes from a little notebook and playing songs. It felt rather lame in time, though, and I had already almost given up when a certain friend inspired me and got me going again. Now I've taken actual guitar lessons, last spring and currently going to some. :)
A favourite instrument? Can you play it?
- The electric guitar. Better every day. ;)
What would you wish for from the music-faerie?
- Hmm... that I make it to real metal band one day. :D
Any future plans/aspirations?
- Well, I'll keep on practicing and coming up with new songs (hopefully I'll get some uploaded, I only have old, really weird ones up at the moment).
And of course I want to play in that band...
