When I open my eyes
Each and every morning
I look into the sky
See a new day dawning
Yesterday I cried
My heart and life was torn
But yesterdays gone by
Today I am reborn
A fresh start and clean slate
My life is rid of all the sin

The morning comes and goes
Walked past a homeless guy
He stopped me for some change
Yet I walked on by

Ignored a mother and new born
Both were living harsh
Binned lunch was still warm
